Clinical description: 
In T-2 toxicosis, caused by ingestion of Fusarium spp. of fungi, early signs of the condition may include refusal to eat as well as ulceration, crusting, and necrotic lesions in the oral mucosa caused by direct contact with the fungal toxin. In this photo, there is ulceration of the proximal esophagus.
